Cure diabetes by juicing

101 31
Diabetes is a condition of high blood sugar and the body's inability to respond to insulin, a hormone that helps to regulate the level of blood sugar. When this happens, the glucose level in the blood system remains constantly high. Our pancreas respond by producing more and more insulin to try to maintain the sugar blood level, until it can no longer keep up anymore. This condition is directly damaging to the cells and can cause very severe long-term damage to the body.

Some of the common health problems known that are related to this condition are insomnia, obesity, type-II diabetes, polycystic ovary disease, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, and hormone related cancers.

To prevent such conditions you need to make wise choices concerning your health. But, if disease has already shown its ugly head, then fight it with the very "miracle foods" that God has given—fruits!

Fresh juices can help to reduce feelings of hunger or cravings by quenching your appetite. Fresh carrot or parsley juices are especially effective in curbing appetite and cravings. They also help to maintain healthy blood sugar levels.

Ginger, garlic, celery, pumpkin, cabbage, asparagus, parsley, spinach, leeks, spinach, beets and carrots are all good choices. Juicing fresh green vegetables such as brussel sprouts and string beans is a wonderful health benefit as both are good sources of natural insulin. Nutrients such as silicon works to support the pancreas and are found in alfalfa, olives, asparagus, lettuce, mustard greens, radishes, cabbage and cucumbers.

Use fruit combinations sparingly due to their high sugar content. Sweet juices such as carrot, beet, grape, apple or pear juice should be half diluted with water or mixed with other juices such as celery.
Bitter Melon juice has been used to treat diabetes mellitus (according to the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians). The plant contains at least three known compounds that can lower the body's blood sugar level. Recommended serving per day is 2 ounces of fresh bitter melon juice.

Mangosteen juice used as a supplement under medical supervision may decrease blood sugar levels and benefit those with type 2 diabetes. Recommended dose per day is 1 ounce or 30ml of Mangosteen juice to be taken before a meal.

These foods have an insulin-like action and should be included in a diabetic's diet regularly, varying them in the diet as much as possible:

Asparagus, avocados, bittermelon, black pepper, Brussel sprouts, carrots, cinnamon, cucumbers, fennel,  garlic, ginger, grapefruit, guava, parsnips, raw green vegetables, onions, leeks, sweet potatoes, tomato, winter squash, yams.

Even though carrots are sweet, it is also a good blood sugar regulator.  Combine cucumber and tomato, which help reduce sugar in urine.  This juice tastes good.

Juice one medium-sized carrot, half a medium-sized cucumber and two medium-sized ripe tomatoes.  Juice yield is about 250ml (using a gear juicer).

Carrots are good blood regulator and also helps eye problems in diabetics. Juice with a green apple (not red) that helps bring down sugar level. Combine with spinach for the powerful synergistic healing potential.  Add celery for its good sodium and minerals, at the same time enhancing the taste.

Use one medium-sized carrot and green apple, a bunch of spinach and two ribs of celery.

Guava has very high content of vitamin C that is necessary for diabetics.  If you can stand the bitterness, bitter gourd/melon is highly beneficial in lowering sugar level in the blood and urine.  Check the bitter gourd page on how to lessen the bitterness.

De-seed and juice one medium-sized guava and half of a large bitter gourd (large ones are less bitter).

Asparagus, cucumber, leek, cranberry, celery and watermelon juices are natural diuretics and can help eliminate water retention.
