Think Twice About Apple Cider Vinegar - It"s For Your Health

What history tells us is that people have been making wine for thousands of years.
From the beginning of time people realized the fermented juice of grapes or apples was actually good to drink; and good for you! When wine turned sour, it naturally turned into vinegar.
The first set of yeasts produce wine from fruits or grains, than a second set of yeasts turn the wine into vinegar.
Surely this is not something you want to think about after purchasing a top dollar wine from your favorite store and come home to find your wine was been spoiled.
However, when it happens to wine or apple juice, you have just struck gold.
Sounds funny to say something that turns bad is good for you.
But now your spoiled juice or wine has just turned in your favor for your health.
A survey taken showed that 98 % of American homes have a bottle of vinegar.
Before you continue reading, check your closet or refrigerator.
I bet you have a bottle.
Usually when you taste vinegar your first reaction is to make a sour face, and the bitter taste, is what you remember in that second of intake.
However, the vinegar actually keeps the flavor of the actual fruit; grape or apple.
Depending on how it was aged, it will take on those flavors or scents.
For example balsamic vinegar is aged over a long period of time in wooded barrels.
There are also other vinegars like Japanese rice vinegar, Spanish sherry vinegar, and malt vinegar which the British are known to put on their wonderful fish and chips.
In the second set of yeasts which is part of the fermentation process, the alcohol turns it into acetic acid and water.
The tart, sour taste is the acetic acid of the vinegar.
Now, the sour tasting vinegar has a whole slew of health benefits that you probably never thought twice about; or maybe your Grandma recommended to you and it went in one ear and out the other.
Don't get Apple Cider Vinegar mixed up with distilled white vinegar.
Distilled Vinegar is usually what people use for cooking or as a natural cleaning product.
Now everybody always wants to know, "what's in it for me health wise?" Apple Cider Vinegar improves digestion and elimination, fights arthritis and removes toxins and acid crystals and helps to normalize weight.
Apple Cider Vinegar always works in conjunction with a healthy meal and exercise.
